An Affair of Excellence was founded in 2014 by Annette Hemphill. Having planned events from weddings to dinner parties and even Justin Bieber themed parties for tweens for the past ten years, Annette decided to take the leap of faith, leave corporate America, and pursue her dream of event planning.
With a B.A. in Business Management and Technical Operations, and a professional background in business administration, operations and customer service, Annette brings not only all aspects of creativity to the events she plans but also business savvy and excellence in customer service.
Annette’s desire to pursue event planning emerged from her passion of planning events of her own. An avid hostess, cook and decorator; Annette always heard “You should do this for a living.” and one day decided; “They’re right!” After careful planning and consideration, An Affair of Excellence was born.
